Nap Time Webinars – Supporting Trauma Informed Play to Facilitate Healing

Join us for the February installment of “Nap Time Webinars”. We’ve created this series to help dayhome professionals enjoy some free GROUP professional development during quiet time. These sessions are roughly 1 hour long and include an informative webinar provided by Early Childhood Webinars. Join us at 1PM on the last Friday of every month inside our Facebook Group – we’ll use Zoom to watch each webinar as a group. Certificates are available.

Supporting Trauma-Informed Play to Facilitate Healing 

Play and play based learning are important for healthy growth and development of all children and is psychologically and physically restorative for children with a history of trauma. This session, presented by child development and trauma specialist Dr. Barbara Sorrels, will focus on the benefits of play to healthy brains and bodies and will include practical strategies for creating effective play-based classrooms to help children flourish and heal.
