Whether it’s family expectations, family dynamics, family rituals and routines or family culture that are creating some wonderful resources or some difficult tensions for you, your ability to sustain positive relationships with families is essential. Every family is unique and brings a different perspective about their child’s growth, development, and views on play. Understanding the importance of working with families, not against them, can create a strong foundation of support for the children in your care.
