CREATING ALBERTA'S FIRST AND ONLY DAYHOME SUPPORT NETWORK
Anyone that has run a dayhome business knows first hand that it’s anything but a walk in the park.
Burnout, isolation, fatigue – these are all real life struggles that dayhome professionals face.
And I know that resources and support can make a world of difference to a dayhome provider no matter where they are at on their dayhome journey.
But finding resources and support that are both accessible and affordable in a dayhome setting can be difficult. That’s why in 2018 I set out to create a community exclusively for dayhome providers.
A place where they can easily access the resources and support they need to run their dayhome business and run it well. Where they can network, learn new skills, access business tools, and keep current within the early learning field.
Because when over half of the children who need child care in Alberta are cared for by in-home child care professionals, it’s time that dayhome providers have access to the resources and supports they need as they run their dayhome business.
